Keria’ hITES - nETJETS

To Whom It May Concern,

It gives me great pleasure to write the strongest letter of recommendation for Lauren Klocinski. The very first week of her internship at NetJets, Lauren took the initiative to approach and adopt me as her mentor. Therefore, I am well-qualified to speak to Lauren’s inextinguishable work ethic as well as her uncommon originality.

One summer does not seem like enough time to leave an impression; however, with Lauren that was simply not the case.

Lauren possesses a work ethic far beyond what appears on paper. She is inquisitive and fearless—always eager to ask the tough questions and take leaps of faith. At the end of her internship, she received an opportunity to present to the CEO, and Lauren decided to take this a completely different direction. Instead of merely recapping her summer experience, which was the base expectation, she chose to present an original idea in hopes of sparking the CEO’s interest. Her strategy lines up with what I witnessed throughout her growth over the summer as she was continually challenged with the question: How can I stand out?

Should you have any questions regarding Lauren’s notable performance, I would be grateful to discuss further.

Sincerely,

NICOLE FRASER - AMERICAN GREETINGS

Hello,

My name is Nicole Fraser, and it is my sincere pleasure to provide this recommendation for Lauren Klocinski. I'm an Editorial Manager with American Greetings, where I've worked for 31 years. I lead the Conventional Writing Studio, a diverse group of in-house writers, independent contractors, and freelance contributors. I also lead the Proofreading Studio, and serve as Editing Manager on special projects. Prior to entering management, I worked as an AG Senior Writer/Editor and Senior Creative Consultant for 20+ years.

I met Lauren in February 2019, when she was new to AG. I was Editing Manager on a major expedited project for a key corporate initiative, and Lauren was assigned to my team.

Lauren quickly impressed and uplifted me with her work ethic, her positivity and energy, and her ability to assimilate our complex work with minimal training. She quickly developed skills with our proprietary systems and editing processes. She also showed her creativity and heart for people-two qualities that are essential both to AG's business success and to our caring office culture.

During her time with American Greetings, I observed that Lauren is equally strong in collaborative and independent work.

  • As a team member, she demonstrated active listening, contributed new ideas, and built on others' input to achieve results. She interacted this way with Editorial-only teams and with cross-functional groups of Editorial, Design, and Marketing colleagues. She was thoughtful and generous, always taking time to express appreciation to teammates.

  • When working independently, Lauren was very self-sufficient with strong initiative and followthrough. She unfailingly completed assignments on time or early, asking concise, clear questions along the way. These outstanding work habits made my job easier.

Lauren showed energy and engagement in all aspects of product creation. She asked intuitive questions that showed her growing understanding. She wasn't afraid to ask difficult questions, which helped me reevaluate things I'd taken for granted and consider new approaches.

Notably, Lauren actively sought feedback from me to increase her skills and knowledge. She always took my feedback with openness and a passion to learn. She had the ability to quickly assimilate my direction, and followed up with me to share her new results.

Lauren's official job title was Associate Editor, but she also served as a writer and proofreader during her time with us. ln addition, she was chosen for a small team that tested a new, proprietary R&D method for one of our major seasonal programs. Lauren succeeded in these additional roles because of her diverse talents, work ethic, and passion to learn and contribute value to the company.

In my many years of training and mentoring Editorial associates, Lauren rises to the top of my list. With her outstanding personal qualities and professional abilities, I give her my unequivocal recommendation.

Best wishes,

katie simms - title boxing club

To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Katie Pollock Simms. I have worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years and have taught many formats including Indoor Cycle, Bootcamp, Strength, Pilates and Boxing. In my six years with Title Boxing Club Cleveland, I have held the position of Head Trainer and Part-Owner of Title Boxing Club Ohio City. I have hired and trained many trainers over the years, but it has especially been a pleasure getting to know Lauren.

I met Lauren at a one-on-one training session in May of 2019, and I recall being instantly impressed by her self-awareness and attention to detail. A few weeks after our meeting, she was on the schedule.

Lauren is a perfect example of Title Boxing Club’s mission statement: to be the best hour of someone’s day. Those at Title Boxing Club Ohio City can certainly attest to this, as there are many members who eagerly return to Lauren’s weekly Friday night classes. This is probably a result of her frequent requests for additional feedback. Lauren has always welcomed and encouraged feedback from myself, trainers and members looking to grow and improve. She is one of the most coachable trainers I’ve ever worked with.

You cannot teach a trainer to care and luckily I never had to worry about that with Lauren. Her genuine concern for the health, happiness, and well-being of our members shines through her positive spirit and constant encouragement every single class.

Lauren started off in a rocky situation but overcame it with more persistence and positivity than any person could. Because of this, I am more than happy to offer the highest recommendation of Lauren to any fitness club in the area.

Best,

Katie Pollock Simms

JAMES SCOTT - NETJETS

Dear Hiring Manager,

Lauren spent 10 weeks with us at NetJets and the whole time she was
there, I and the entire communications team wondered how we had ever gotten along without her. She possesses great writing ability and was able to develop work for us with very limited direction. However, that wasn’t even the most impressive element of her skillset: I’ve worked with a number of people who have been in the job market for far longer, but none of them had the proactive nature or will to keep learning like Lauren did. She continuously and consistently looked for ways to contribute to the team, without having to be asked. Plus, she not only accepted but wanted feedback on her work. And, when she received it, the information had been instantly incorporated and, often, improved upon.

If I was in a position to hire Lauren, I would not hesitate. I don’t think you
should either.

Sincerely,
James T. Scott, JD
